I believe that God, the Good Lord, does exist and that Yehoshua, the Jew from Nazareth who lived two millennia ago,
was his Messenger, leaving a Message of supreme and timeless value, a set of
ideas for making everybody’s life as rewarding and happy as possible on this
Earth, a Message in the form of the four Gospels to begin with, texts that have
the power and the persuasiveness to lead everyone to God who wants to be led to God, to Him Who blesses those who
believe by filling their hearts and minds with the awareness of His magnificent
existence, the awareness of Him being the Loving, Supporting, Strengthening,
Rewarding, Understanding, Consoling, Forgiving and Protecting Father, a fullness
of heart I can not adequately describe to those who
don’t believe (yet).
I believe God sees what's going on in our hearts and minds, the birthplace of
mankind’s future, better than we do ourselves, because God also sees what’s
going on in our subconsciousness, the untraceable
fountain contributing to the flow of our thoughts and feelings.
I think we are living in a unique and highly problematic period, lasting for several decades now,
unique because I think this period saw us gradually land in a situation in which
the gap between reality and the perception of reality, the gap between facts and
the right assessment of facts, the gap between ideas and the image of ideas have never
been so great and perilous. I think that bad ideas have been given - and are
still being given - the image of being good ideas, and that good ideas have been
given the image of being bad ideas. This has led to dangerous problems for our societies, as people
speak and act on the basis of ideas, and too many people don’t see the
difference between the popularity and the actual qualities of
ideas.
Yet there is no reason for despair, as the Christian idea permanently offers
hope and inspiration. I believe in Christianity being mankind’s most reliable
compass in matters of good and evil. I realize I’m living in a world in
which that belief doesn’t go down well in many people, even arouses
incomprehension, mockery and hate. So I also believe in the conclusions of all
future constructive discussions about Christianity, about what the Christian way
is, conclusions that I expect will have a benign clarifying effect on today’s
opinion climate, conclusions that I expect will make people rediscover and
re-appreciate Christianity, and conclusions that I hope will eventually be
translated in better laws. I believe in constructive debate. I’m looking forward
to it, actually. More and more so with every year that goes
by.
The combination of the Christian conviction, clear to-the-point reasoning and
the internet holds a great reliable promise. I view the potential of this
combination as quite formidable, actually. I believe it holds an outlook on a
future in which the nations will be told all the facts they should know, an
outlook on a future in which the nations become aware of how all this
image-making works, of how psychological warfare works, a future that will see a
renewed appreciation of common sense, of tested traditions, of the people’s
collective experiences with other faiths and peoples, a future in which you can
safely say what your own eyes are seeing, without fear of negative labels,
broken careers or social isolation, a future that will again recognize the
classic virtues and vices for what they are, to the benefit of the nations.
I believe God sees it when people take a stand against evil, regardless of the impact of their resistance. I believe He will carefully monitor
whether those who resist evil, do place great demands on their own resistance.
Resisting evil is a good thing, but all good things have bad things for their
neighbours. Trust, for instance, always has to navigate between credulity and suspicion. So only if the resistance meets Christian
standards, you may hope He will bless it. And then, He will give you the courage you need to take a big risk in order to defend those you feel responsible for. Then, He will protectingly stand between you and those who hate you for seeing what they're up to, when they use minor issues as an excuse to revel in their sarcasm, powerplay and gloating. Then, He will share in your joy and profound gratitude, when you see advance for a good
cause. I believe He will then hold a shield in front of
your heart and mind, to deflect the hateful hints evil fires at you, its hidden sneers and
insults, even threats, deliberately aimed to hurt intensely,
not recognizable for the great public, but only too well for the better informed. He’ll accompany you, He will come and stand next to you, while
you were thinking you are standing alone, and sharp and cold and intense
feelings of loneliness will come, once you’ve passed the line you have to pass
in order to show your resistance. He will encourage you,
like a man whose authority you respect nods to you in a ‘never mind’ kind of
way, when you feel embarrassed by your own bungling during
the resistance. He will invisibly reassure you, as if He is
laying His hand on your shoulder, when the fear comes, every now and then.
I love God and I think I know He loves me. But do I understand Him? No, I don’t.
The questions I’m struggling with are too big. But what I do understand is He
does not need me to understand Him.
Besides, how could the creation ever fully understand its Creator? He, however,
will give me the answers I long for somewhere in the future, I trust. Until
then, I have to learn to be glad with the answers and discoveries I already got,
and I will simply believe in ‘Do your best, God does the rest’ and try to live
up to that. And remarkably, while I am trying that, it are my beliefs, more than
the things I know for a fact, which give me everything I need in terms of resolvedness, perseverance, inner strength and
patience.

Britain, The Netherlands, Europe are in very big trouble, in my view. Our countries
urgently need new political parties, Christian-patriotic parties, and it is very important to know what Torahism is. Please read
my main text at www.ibcpp.org.uk
If you come to agree with my views, please always remember that
the only way out is a peaceful and patient way. Not a single foreigner or Jew
can be held responsible for the country's present situation. Avoid
confrontations that can easily turn overheated. Don't react to provocations. Please
don't view the avoiding as cowardice. It isn't. Be strong, be calm and calm down others
if their anger may cause them to do foolish things.
Long live the Jews, down with Torahism.
